As a creative person, I have many interests. I've been a portrait photographer since 1986, managed photo labs and portrait studios, managed a photo styling department,convinced many clients to do business with me, designed sets, scouted locations,coordinated shoots, hired staff, directed the art,and picked, purchased and hauled tons of props! What is a Photo Stylist? I graduated with a degree in Design at University of Illinois, and interned with Playboy magazine where I learned that what you see is not "exactly" what you get when you view an image. I found catalog and advertising photography to be similarly exotic!A Stylist takes the tired, old object and gives it life! You see it more beautiful than imagined. Or perhaps never imagined before.
